Crops: Short Term - 186 planted between 22nd/06/24 to 27th/06/24.
Patchoi - The 1st 5 patchoi were harvested. Another 12 were replanted.
20 Lettuce - All of the lettuce that were planted on the bed were harvested. Shadon beni is now planted there. Some that were planted in the container were also harvested, there are only 6 left. Will be planting some more soon.
60 Celery - Some of the celery were harvested, some died and those that are left are growing healthy. This is my first time planting celery, I'll definitely be planting more.
10 Kale - Some of the kales were harvested and blend with orange juice. Tasted really delicious. The remaining will be harvested soon and more will be replanted.
30 Chive - Experienced healthy growth, some were already harvested. They were also used to deter insects from in the garden.
40 Shadon Beni - Healthy growth and is already being used to cook our meals. A 2nd set were planted on the bed where the lettuce grew and was harvested.
14 Cucumbers - I was able to harvest some cucumbers however, most of them died because of a dog that is constantly digging and lying in the grow box that they are. The remaining plants are still flowering and bearing. I will be replanting soon.
Long term: 67 crops were planted between 20th/06/24 to 22nd/06/24.
12 Tomatoes - Two died, the remaining are flowering and bearing.
16 Sweet Peppers - Flowering and growing nicely.
8 Ochroes - Flowering and bearing. Many were already harvested. The younger plants are growing really well.
6 Melongenes - Flowering and bearing. Growing very healthy.
6 String beans - Most of the trees have beared and beans were harvested. Some were dried and replanted. They are growing very healthy.
12 Flavour Peppers - The strongest plant is now in flowering and bearing stage. Most have increased their growing speed and they are flourishing.
7 Cauliflower - Growing very healthy and is entering flowering stage.
Natural remedies were used to help deter unwanted insects - Onion and garlic water and including chives between the crops. Two marigolds were planted again but did not survive for long. Acaramik was also used.
Natural fertilizers used included onion and garlic water. X-Tra power, Harvest more, 12:24:12, 10:55:10 were also used.
