Description: This video showcases my newly established aquaponic system which is being used to grow cascadura fish and plants together. The total growing area is 40 squared feet. No pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers were be used to grow these crops. I rely solely on the fish and fish waste to provide the nutrients for the plants. My short-term crops are lettuce, chive, shadon beni and celery. My long-term crops are tomato, pimento, ochro and cabbage. The plants were planted on the 25th of June 2024. All lettuce were harvested and replanted during August 2024. Ochro, celery, chive and shadon beni were harvested during August and September.
