Crops: Short Term - 186 planted between 22nd/06/24 to 27th/06/24.
12 Patchoi - attacked by aphids and green caterpillars. Five (5) were able to combat the attack through the inclusion of the chives plants and acaramik. Will be planting back some soon.
20 Lettuce - growing very healthy, some were already harvested. Minor attacks by caterpillars and aphids, acaramik was used. X-Tra power and harvest more were used.
60 Celery - growing really well, should be able to harvest within the next 2 weeks.
10 Kale - were attacked by insects and 2 died. The remaining 8 are growing slowly.
30 Chive - experienced healthy growth, some were already harvested. They were also used to deter insects from in the garden.
40 Shadon Beni - healthy growth and is already being used to cook our meals.
14 Cucumbers - started bearing but were were attacked by insects and some plants died. The remaining plants are now flowering and bearing fruit. X-Tra power and harvest more were used.
Long term: 67 crops were planted between 20th/06/24 to 22nd/06/24.
12 Tomatoes - Increased in growth through the use of X-Tra Power and 10:55:10. Some plants are already flowering. X-Tra power and harvest more were used.
16 Sweet Peppers - experiencing minor insects bits, but growing really well and is about to flower. X-Tra power and harvest more were used.
8 Ochroes - flowering and bearing. Many were already harvested, some were dried and replanted. The are in vegetation stage.
6 Melongenes - growing healthy and flowering. X-Tra power and harvest more were used.
6 String beans - Most of the trees have beared and beans were harvested. Some were dried and replanted. They are growing very healthy.
12 Flavour Peppers - X-tra power and 10:55:10 were used on one plant which experienced rapid growth. Three (3) of the plants died, the others are growing slowly.
7 Cauliflower - growing very healthy.
Natural remedies were used to help deter unwanted insects - Onion and garlic water and including chives between the crops. Acaramik was also used. Two marigolds were planted but they died.
Natural fertilizers used included onion and garlic water. X-Tra power, Harvest more, 12:24:12, 10:55:10 were also used.
