Community Development Partnership Forum IV Survey

The Ministry of Community Development, Culture and the Arts (MCDCA) will be hosting its fourth biennial Community Development Partnership Forum (CDPF) from the 17th-23rd August, 2019 as part of CARIFESTA XIV. CDPF is a knowledge building platform for practitioners in the community development sector, which aims to strengthen the process of community development and contribute to building sustainable communities. CDPF IV will bring together creatives from various communities and across the Caribbean to exchange ideas, innovations and explore in a practical way the notion of sustainable livelihoods for the artists and transforming communities using local assets, culture and the arts by focusing on the following themes:
- Arts and Communities (The role of Handicraft in communities as a Developmental tool)
- Creative Cities and Communities (Community Creative Commercial Centres, Concepts and Models)
- Cultural and Creative Industries (Commercialization of the Creative Sector), and
- Cultural Heritage and Policy Management.
