Description: The rains have been very good to my garden despite a few setbacks.
Both my cucumbers and carille plants are yet to fully bear. Updates on my selected crops are as follows:

Lettuce: Bronze Mignoette, Eden, Rouxai and Royal Oak
In all, I planted 11 seedlings . They were planted in an old pig tail bucket and concrete brick blocks. Leaves were frequently harvested throughout the period and used in salads. Some leaf miners were seen and soapy water applied. For the harvest period three heads of lettuce were uprooted and several leaves from the others taken.

Chive: Blue, Tokoyo Long and Chidori
Fifteen seedlings were planted. They are growing at a rapid rate, long and thick. I am yet to harvest them, instead awaiting their full growth period given the variety.

Kale- Blue Curl, Winterbor
Twelve seedlings were planted. Several leaves were harvested from them. Due to the rain falling, the growth rate was rapid.

Carille- Hybrid
Three seedlings were planted, Two in the ground and one in a bucket. Thus far the carille is spreading on the fence and flowering.

Cucumber- Hybrid
Two seedlings were planted and have been growing rapidly. There are alot of flowers and cucumbers have started bearing.
