FOSTERING PARENT-CHILD TEAMWORK – NATIONAL MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY HOSTS PAPER COLLAGE WORKSHOP

March 11, 2018

Using creative mediums to build that critical relationship between parents and children was the main objective of a Paper Collage Workshop conducted on March 10th by Mr. Keith Ward in partnership with the National Museum and Art Gallery. The workshop was held at the Museum and attended by fifty (50) parents and children. Participants enjoyed the craft activity and the guidance offered by Mr. Ward, as well as the family bonding time.

Curator of the Museum Ms. Lorraine Johnson said that “the National Museum and Art Gallery provides that creative space for persons of all ages to nurture their artistic talents. We also acknowledge art as a means of enriching those bonds between parents and children. Therefore, this workshop effectively achieved both goals, and we shall host similar activities throughout the year.”
