Caroni District hosts forum on the prevention of Gender-Based Violence

The Caroni Administrative District of the Ministry of Community Development, Culture and the Arts hosted a forum on the prevention of Gender-Based Violence at the Warrenville Regional Complex in Cunupia on Friday March 31, 2017. The event was entitled, “Gender En Masse.”
Suzanna Wallace of the “Heart of a Sister Foundation” shared valuable information on the “Threat and Challenges of Women in the 21stCentury.” This was followed by Rhandall Feeles, President of the “Single Fathers Association of Trinidad and Tobago, who spoke on “Gender Issues through the eyes of a Man.”
There was full participation and interaction from those in attendance, including staff members of the Caroni District Office and the Warrenville Regional Complex. Some of those who attended, described the sessions as “informative and relevant in today’s society.”
